Wed 26th March 08 Guy has been asked to take photographs of Margaret Richie MLA on her visit to meet the Skainos Director in East Belfast today. Margaret Richie is the Minister of the Department of Social Development in Northern Ireland who have just announced that they will be supporting the Skainos project of regeneration in East Belfast.

A local newspaper, The Mourne Observer published the story about Guy's photograph being presented to the Queen, entitled 'a royal commission for local photographer'.

'Walking to Work' is the title of the photograph that Guy was commissioned to make as a gift for The Queen. Today at an Easter Ceremony at East Belfast Mission, the photograph was presented to The Queen from the people of East Belfast. The photograph depicts three men walking to work through the tarmac scarred streets with the iconic Harland & Wolfe cranes in the background. Guy has been commissioned by an East Belfast Charity (EBM) with the brief to capture that something special that represents the community and area of East Belfast. This Photograph will then be presented to a visiting VIP.
