Wednesday 3rd Sept 08 - Photographing Top Restaurant

Photographs of Porterhouse Restaurant, Lisburn Road, Belfast are shot by Guy for Ireland Homes & Interiors magazine.  A selection of photographs will be featured in the next edition to accompany editorial on restaurant and head chef, Jonny.
"It's a great restaurant with a wonderful ambience and friendly staff. Jonny is such a great chef and It was a lot of fun doing the shoot", said Guy.
Samantha from the Ireland Homes & Interiors magazine said that the photographs were brilliant and perfect for the editorial. Below is a sample of some of the photos you will see.

Guy Poland is delighted to support the re:store social economy project and every purchase made will help towards funding services to the homeless, unemployed, counselling services and community regeneration.

Guy has been asked to take photographs of Margaret Richie MLA on her visit to meet the Skainos Director in East Belfast today. Margaret Richie is the Minister of the Department of Social Development in Northern Ireland who have just announced that they will be supporting the Skainos project of regeneration in East Belfast.

A local newspaper, The Mourne Observer published the story about Guy's photograph being presented to the Queen, entitled 'a royal commission for local photographer'.






Wed 19th March 08:

'Walking to Work' is the title of the photograph that Guy was commissioned to make as a gift for The Queen. Today at an Easter Ceremony at East Belfast Mission, the photograph was presented to The Queen from the people of East Belfast. The photograph depicts three men walking to work through the tarmac scarred streets with the iconic Harland & Wolfe cranes in the background. Guy has been commissioned by an East Belfast Charity (EBM) with the brief to capture that something special that represents the community and area of East Belfast. This Photograph will then be presented to a visiting VIP.

Guy photographed a pre-budget protest at Stormont. Protesters aim to highlight the facts of people experiencing homelessness across Northern Ireland in the hope that politicians are persuaded to dedicate appropriate resources.
